The Key Persons of POMInnO are:

Andrzej Tonderski, Ph.D. Eng., Vice-President. Education and Experience: M.Sc. Eng., environmental engineering (Gdansk University of Technology), Ph.D (Linkoping University, Dept. of Water & Environmental Studies) – Control of nutrient fluxes in large river basins, formerly consultant (AF International, ENVISTON, SMHI). Since 2003 Director of POMCERT, institutional coordinator of international projects: BALTIC MANURE, BIOENERGY PROMOTION, RECO Baltic 21 Tech (BSR INTERREG Programme), OFF.E.R., WAB, RESCHAINS, SBP CAPACITY Building Project (leader) (South Baltic Programme), NORWET (EEA/ Norway Grants). In 2010-2012 - President of the Board of BioBaltica Ltd. (currently INNOBALTICA) running BSR HealthPort Project, BioEcoChem and Klimapomerania clusters to stimulate cooperation between SMEs, science and administration. He was a scientific expert and a member of the Steering Committee representing Poland in the consortium managing the ERA-NET programme BONUS PLUS. Currently running several projects: MIRACLE, BaRuWa, SWIM, BIOBALT. In addition hired Dr Tonderski is hired by Gdańsk University of Technology for targeted assignments in large projects: EKOŁUPKI and POMBIOGAS. Ten publications with focus on nutrient fluxes in large river basins and wastewater treatment, fifteen publications within the energy sector.

Karin Sundblad Tonderski, PhD Docent, project manager. Education and Experience: PhD (Linkoping University, Dep Water and Environmental Studies) Recycling of Wastewater Nutrients in a Wetland Filter. Running the consultancy firm Aquasund 1997-2000, specializing in constructed wetlands design, researcher and lecturer since 1989, which also includes training students in scientific writing and making language editing of manuscripts. Project coordinator for several research projects in Sweden, Kenya, Poland and Vietnam, regarding constructed wetlands for water pollution control and low cost sanitation. Current projects deals with management of bio-fertilizers from biogas plants (Biogas Research Center, Sweden) and farmer’s awareness on risks for nutrient losses and implementation of low cost remedial measures (BalticSea2020). Member of the Technical Advisory Committee for the R&D program BioInnovate (Biotechnology in East Africa). Around 50 international publications in mentioned areas; member of the editorial board of Ecological Engineering.

Agnieszka Hylla-Wawryniuk, M.Sc., Biologist. Diploma in Gdańsk University. Postgraduate studies: GIS Analyst at Gdańsk University. Supports activities of non-governmental organisations associated with environmental issues, ecological education & biodiversity conservation such as World Wildlife Fund Poland. Involved in scientific research on sea mammals managed by Hel Marine Station and WWF Poland. Previously employed at State Forests, Centre For Ecological Information and Education of Gdańsk Water Foundation. Currently holds a position of research manager in POMInnO,working with Baruwa Project, Miracle Project and other ecological assigments.

Andrzej Michalski,  M.Sc., Eng. Diploma on Chemical Faculty, Gdańsk University of Technology. Specialises  in  design and management of  technological lines  for biotechnological and petrochemical industry. Worked in few multi-national companies gaining sales & marketing experience combined with practical and theoretical knowledge as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prepared to create, modify and apply innovative strategic plans and business services to all our customers.
